Marina Specialists opened its doors in August 2009 and currently has 14 visiting specialists, with new services continually being added. Current visiting specialists provide services including Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery; Dermatology; Vascular – varicose vein treatments; Orthopaedic & Spinal Surgery; Urology; Gynaecology; Gastroenterology; Endocrinology/Specialist Physician; and Psychology.

Marina Specialists is situated on the upper floor of a modern architecturally designed two level building with wide staircase and easy elevator access. The consulting rooms command stunning views over the marina westwards and northwards towards Rangitoto and Browns Islands.

The clinic boasts a state of the art minor surgical operating theatre where procedures can be performed under local anaesthesia with the addition of oral or intravenous sedation when required. Under the supervision of a specialist theatre nurse patients can relax in the recovery room until ready to leave.

While we usually collect this from you, we may also receive information from third parties (such as GP referral letters, hospital discharge summaries, and lab/X-ray results) to ensure a complete clinical picture.

Disclosure: We share relevant information with other healthcare providers involved in your treatment (e.g., your GP, anaesthetists, or hospitals) and, where applicable, with ACC, your health insurer, or Te Whatu Ora for billing and audit purposes.
